The Lamborghini Urus is an SUV designed by Lamborghini. The car was introduced on 4 December 2017 and launched for the 2018 model year. The name comes from the Urus, the ancestor of modern domestic cattle, also known as the Bos primigenius. The Lamborghini Urus will not use Lamborghini's naturally aspirated V10 or V12 engines. Instead, the Volkswagen Group has developed a new 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8. Lamborghini says this engine will only be used in the Lamborghini Urus and some Audi RS models and in the A8 line, and is shared with Bentley in the Continental V8 coupé and Flying Spur V8.
